Privacy Policy

1. What Aeroplayn is

Aeroplayn is a personal cloud music library application that lets you organize, stream, and manage your music collection from various sources including local uploads, YouTube, SoundCloud, and cloud storage services.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

  • Account information — email address and display name when you create an account.
  • Track metadata — titles, artist names, BPM, key, and cover art URLs you provide or that are fetched automatically.
  • OAuth tokens — access tokens for connected services (Pinterest, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Box) stored encrypted in our database and used solely to read your content from those services.
  • Usage data — play counts and liked tracks to power your library experience.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide and operate the Aeroplayn service.
  • To authenticate you with third-party services you choose to connect.
  • To display your music library and cover art.
  • We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to any third party.

4. Pinterest integration

If you choose to connect your Pinterest account, Aeroplayn requests read-only access to your boards and pins (boards:read, pins:read) solely to allow you to search Pinterest and select pin images as cover art for your tracks. This includes browsing your own boards as well as searching public Pinterest content. We do not post to Pinterest, create or modify pins, follow accounts, or read any data beyond what is needed to display pin images within Aeroplayn. You can disconnect Pinterest at any time from the Connections settings page.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data. OAuth tokens are stored server-side and never exposed to the browser. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

6. Third-party services

Aeroplayn integrates with the following services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Supabase (database and auth)
  • Stripe (subscription billing)
  • Pinterest, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Box (optional, user-initiated connections)
  • YouTube and SoundCloud (playback only, no data stored)

7. Data retention and deletion

You can delete any track from your library at any time. To request full account deletion and removal of all associated data, contact us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Children's privacy

Aeroplayn is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of Aeroplayn after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
